Snow-cat
Snow-cat
Cat sculpture constructed from snow.
Contributors note: "This photograph was taken during a walk around our neighbourhood in Mairehau on 25 July 2011, just after that year's Big Snow. It may have been freezing but all the earthquake damage was covered up and for a little while the place looked beautiful again. Many of our neighbours made the best of it, creating a range of elaborate "snowmen" with their kids. We left the city for good a few months later and I still miss it."
