The photograph was one of two loose photographs in the photograph album between the pages 23 and 24. Portrait of James and Elizabeth Tree, foster parents to George Walsh. Handwritten annotation on reverse reads: Grandad & Grandma Tree. Grandad Walsh's parents.

Contributors note: "The photographs in the album were taken by my father, Edward (Eddie) Walsh."
