A bus destined for Mays Road, parked in Cathedral Square, with a pram hooked to its front. Various buildings and businesses are visible in the background, including Grand Theatre, Crystal Palace, Colonial Mutual, The Strand and Dominion Building.

Around the corner, one of the movie theatre advertisements is for a French movie made in 1950 called ‘Gunman in the Streets’. The photo shows a Mays Rd bus, with people on board, and a pram hooked on the front, various cars parked and driving."
