View down Club Lane, from Oxford Terrace. The Government Life Building in Cathedral Square is prominent, with the Midland Club, Veterans' Association, Maling & Co, and Bell Radio buildings and business identified down the Lane.

Contributors note: "Christchurch 1960s. Club Lane between 170 and 176 to 178 Oxford Terrace. Looking towards the East is the Government Life Building located at 69 Cathedral Square. The Midland Club building is located to the left of the photo at 176 Oxford Terrace. Cars parked in the lane and on the road are visible."
