Add a commentCan anyone tell me please what was on this land back in the 1940s / 50s. I remember my family lived in a caravan on a site that housed a Grandstand and sports field. I remember starting the Woolston Primary School in 1956. There was a shortage of housing after WW II and we lived here for a few years while waiting for a State house. I understand it was called Athletic Park. I can't seem to find any images or mention of it on the internet.
