Jean Foweraker and Huia Gilpin
Jean Foweraker and Huia Gilpin outside Foweraker House, Botanic Gardens. Foweraker House has been named after Jean as an acknowledgement of her ongoing plant donations to the Botanic Gardens since 1979. Gilpin House has been named after Huia to acknowledge his connection to the gardens over 30 years as former director of parks and recreation.
