Bomb scare at Christchurch Railway Station

28 December 1981

Passengers, including Girl Guides, sheltering from the rain in a goods wagon after evacuating the railway station due to bomb scare. The station received an anonymous call at 9.50am saying a bomb had been planted on board the train.
