The Temple for Christchurch
The Temple for Christchurch
This was built by volunteers during September 2013 on the site of the former Convention Centre in Peterborough Street to enable people to write comments before it was ceremonially burnt at Motukarara Racecourse on 21 September. The design by Hippathy Valentine was based on the seismic waveforms of the biggest earthquake on 22 February 2011.
