The Endurance of Laundry
The Endurance of Laundry
The Gothic Church in Sydenham (corner of Colombo & Brougham Streets) sustained damage during the February earthquake, then was mistakenly demolished.
An amusing installation of clothesline and laundry was erected over the rubble, but was quickly taken down by church officials. I loved this concept of "The Endurance of Laundry".
Date: 2011 (post-earthquake)
