Rennies Milk Bar on Colombo Street
Rennies Milk Bar on Colombo Street
Rennies Milk Bar on Colombo Street in the central city.
Contributor's note: "This is a photo of our family's milk bar. My dad, [Bill Rennie], was the baker, made all the pies, pasties & cakes. My mum worked part-time. But when I finished school in 1960 I worked until 1967 as dad sold the shop in 1966. I was pleased to find this photo, as all the shops on that side of Colombo Street have now gone. Have lots of good memories, tea, coffee and milk shakes."
