Site of future Parkroyal Hotel

22 April 1985

Demolition of buildings taking place on the site which is designated to become the Parkroyal Hotel, taken from the intersection of Kilmore and Victoria Street. The construction of the hotel closed off road access through Victoria Square.

The parade is actually heading along Victoria Street through Victoria Square. The is Colombo St on the left behind the bus shelter and Armagh St at the top. The Sanitarium shop was on the south east corner of Armagh and Colombo.
