Model of an Orion aircraft

18 August 1970

Men from the RNZAF Station in Wigram, Flight-Lieutenant D. Webb (Left), Corporal R.D.Allan and Leading Aircraftsman L.B. Jowers moving a model of an Orion aircraft into a display position at Haywrights Ltd. The aircraft formed part of a display to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the first Cook Strait crossing by air and the model was built by eight Air Force officers at Hobsonville.
