To the left is the shed for steam trams on the site of the Government buildings; the New Zealand Wool Store, now incorporated in the Transport Board's sheds; Trinity Congregational Church; St Paul's Church, and between these two churches Collins's Hotel. Just beyond the hotel is the Church of St John. Opposite St John's is Latimer Square.
