Airedale Courts under snow
Airedale Courts under snow
Airedale Courts under snow 15 August 2011. This was the winter following the 22 February earthquake. Airedale Courts is a City Council social housing complex located in the inner city, between Conference Street, Salisbury Street, Durham Street and Montreal Street. The building in the background and another building next to it (behind the one in the foreground) were later demolished, due to not being up to the earthquake building code. Since October 3, 2016 the Otautahi Community Housing Trust has taken over managing the City Council's social housing properties.
