Goodbye Poplar Tree
Level 3 meant some work could begin around the city, including the removal of some decayed poplar trees near Margaret Mahy Playground. According to the Newsline report, the oldest trees were planted in the late 1920s. The removed trees are replaced with new, baby poplars.
