Cashel Street during COVID-19 level 3
Cashel Street during COVID-19 level 3
View along Cashel Street towards the Bridge of Remembrance during the first few days of New Zealand moving to COVID-19 level 3 from level 4. To the left are construction workers who were allowed to return as restrictions were lifted. To the right a woman carries a takeaway coffee, which was also allowed to start again at level 3. The pharmacy remains open with cones outside to manage numbers and allow for physical distancing in store. The leaves on the ground show how the city's regular maintenance has been on hold during the lockdown.
