Spring in the Residential Red Zone

October 2011 brought new spring greenery to the Avon Loop - and, of course, new flooding challenges to the Residential Red Zone... Quake-damaged roads that were already difficult to navigate became essentially impassible to anything except for 4WD vehicles (and adventurous pedestrians with good gumboots!)
