Fun with Leaves
During the lockdown, we have had many leaves to sweep up. Our neighbours have a big Liquid Amber tree, which produces heaps of leaves, during the autumn. It makes a HUGE mess everywhere, which causes endless raking. It is very fun, to sweep them up, because of the massive piles they make.When I have been sweeping up the leaves, I have learned that leaves are full of air. Up above is a picture of me having fun with the leaves.
This image was entered in the Heaton Normal Intermediate School Art Department Lockdown ‘Bubble Photography Competition’. The Theme was - Tūrangawaewae - Our safe place, the place where we feel we belong. Students were asked to photograph things that they and their family had been doing in their bubble that helped them feel safe and gave them a sense of belonging.
