Iva Fairbrass, Rangi Oberg, Alice – Ari’I Jones
Iva Fairbrass, Rangi Oberg (JP, QSM) , Alice – Ari’I Jones. Rangi (1936- 2007) moved to Christchurch with her husband in the late 1950’s. She helped a great many families from the Cook Islands settle in Christchurch and was often called on to advocate on their behalf. She served as Branch president of PACIFICA women’s association and National Council of Cook Island Women, she also sat on numerous local boards and committees. Iva and Alice were among her good friends, all three were members of St Pauls Presbyterian church in Christchurch.
