Bomb scare at Christchurch Railway Station

28 December 1981

Girl Guides evacuating train station following a bomb scare at the Christchurch Railway Station. The station received an anonymous call at 9.50am saying a bomb had been planted on board the train. Passengers and those on the platform were moved into the station building and told to keep away from the glass doors.
