The end of the Sockburn Pool & Recreation Centre
The Pool was opened in December 1965 and demolished on the 28th July 2006 after 41 years of wonderful times. It was the headquarters of the Sockburn Swimming club over this period and was instigated in 1965 by the Riccarton Swimming Club and the Paparua County Council.
