Postal delivery during World War II
'Postie' Phyllis Sutton with two helpers during postal delivery in Christchurch.
Contributor's note: "My mother Phyllis Sutton was a 'postie' during World War II. This photo shows her in the lead up to Christmas (1946?) with her 2 helpers as it was an extremely busy time. She told me once that this photo shows snow on the ground but I'm not sure if this is correct."
