Snow at True Jesus Church, Addington

Snow on the True Jesus Church at Addington.

Contributors note: "Location - True Jesus Church, Christchurch. Address - 7 Whiteleigh Avenue, Addington, Christchurch. Date - 17 August 2011. Our family travelled from Japan to visit Christchurch to check out the prospect of migration to New Zealand. We arrived to be greeted by great snow storm. Our travel plans were cancelled due to road closures and we were grateful that True Jesus Church hosted us and we are able to stay at church for a couple of days during our visit. This building used to be an auction hall for Wools Exchange (1964) but later used as a chapel for congregation of True Jesus Church. This building won the 2018 Canterbury Architecture Awards Winner - Enduring Architecture Category. Warren and Mahoney Architects. https://www.nzia.co.nz/awards/local/award-detail/7699"
