Comments
Add a commentHe was my Great Uncle, who married Auntie Doris who is my Grandads sister. My father took Uncle Edger to many shows in Christchurch. He was a kind man. He stayed with my Nana when he came to NZ from Aussie to do his shows. He would do many tricks for me. I'll never forget him and Auntie Dori
My dad used to perform magic with The Great Beynon in the 1950s in Christchurch. I remember the Beynons had a bright pink Cadillac and it was filled with magic gear and numerous critters used for his magic tricks. I seem to recall there were rabbits, doves and a cute little white dog, maybe even 2 of them.
